Singapore’s mm2 Entertainment unveiled 3 titles at FILMART 2016

On FILMART’s first day, three projects were unveiled by Singaporean production company mm2 Entertainment. The forthcoming titles include a heart-warming drama ‘Take 2’ and two horror features ‘Ghost Net’ and ‘Ibu’.

Take 2 is about 4 ex-cons trying to make good. It will be directed by Ivan Ho, who co-wrote Ah Boys to Men 3: Frogmen. The film is executive-produced by Jack Neo and jointly produced with J Team Productions from a budget of $1 million.

Meanwhile, Ibu is a story about an 8-year-old who befriends a vampiric ghost in Indonesian and Malay mythology named Pontianak. To cater to the ethnically diverse Malay and Singaporean audience, the film will be shot and released in 2 completely separate language versions. It will be directed by M. Rihan Halim.

Finally, Ghost Net centers on 3 frightening stories concerning the internet. The film is directed by Wong Kwok Fai, Wong Kwok Keung, and Patrick Yau with a budget of $1.3 million.
