The 66th Berlin International Film Festival Has Officially Begun

Berlin characterizes diverse cultural scene, film lovers, and a critical public. This year, the city welcomes artists from around the world for the 66th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale). This glamorous cultural event is set to run from the 11th to the 21st of February, 2016. It opens with “Hail Caesar!” the movie which stars the frequent and honored guest George Clooney among others.

What to expect?

Art, stars, parties, glamour, and business meet in one of the most important dates for the international film industry, the Berlinale. This festival presents mostly international and European premieres of about 400 films per year. The films come in every format, genre, and length.

The Golden and Silver Bear is currently up for grabs, and Meryl Streep will be the head of the jury for this year’s international section.
